This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• In the role of AEM, you will be responsible for managing, developing, and expanding the Myopia product portfolio for CooperVision Inc. among both existing and new clients.
• You will cultivate professional sales relationships with assigned customers, employing a consultative selling approach, and working autonomously.
• This role necessitates daily interactions with clients, both in-person and virtually, as well as new business development within your designated territory.
• AEMs will engage in collaborative business planning with colleagues to achieve mutually advantageous results.
• You are expected to meet and surpass the sales targets set by management for your territory.
• A clear understanding of the CooperVision Myopia portfolio (MiSight and Paragon CRT) is essential, utilizing professional selling techniques and technical knowledge to enhance market share.
• You will implement sales, marketing, and educational initiatives that ensure acceptance by practitioners.
• Utilize your industry knowledge, awareness of competition, and understanding of the portfolio to fulfill and exceed customer expectations.
• Responsible for creating and executing a strategic call cycle and territory business plan.
• Regularly analyze key metrics to support adjustments to the growth strategy.
• Committed to promptly and accurately addressing customer needs, responding to inquiries within 24 hours.
• Accountable for the integration and training related to the CooperVision Myopia technology suite and value-added products to improve customer experience.
• Attend state, regional, and national optical exhibitions when required, including weekends.
• Ensure timely submission of all administrative reports, including but not limited to CRM call reports, expense accounts, and territory assessments.
• Identify the necessity for value-added tools, collaborating with relevant departments to develop practice management resources and materials for eye care professionals.
• A minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience is required.
• Experience in medical device or contact lens sales is mandatory.
• Familiarity with both the contact lens and optical sectors is highly advantageous.
• A Bachelor's degree is necessary, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• NCLE, CLSA, ABO, COA, COT certification is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is essential.
• Proficient in utilizing the Microsoft Office suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with advanced skills developed through training and practical application.
• Daily use of CRM systems to document customer interactions and analyze product sales, account performance, and overall territory growth.
• Exceptional organizational abilities and territory management skills are required.
• A positive attitude and a focus on teamwork, along with the ability to foster strong relationships.
• Ability to anticipate, comprehend, and prioritize customer needs effectively.
• Adaptability to a dynamic work environment, engaging with diverse situations and individuals.
• A self-motivated individual capable of working independently.
• Strong communication skills, with above-average abilities in verbal, written, and reading comprehension.
• Capability to collaborate with other departments.
• Ability to plan and deliver internal and external presentations to various audiences.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the contact lens market and the CooperVision Myopia product line.
