• Meet the monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives set by the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).
• Attain lead generation, prospecting, and various sales management targets aimed at creating an effective sales pipeline.
• Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships and referrals with senior management within designated territories.
• Oversee the complete sales cycle for all opportunities, encompassing initial client outreach, on-site presentations, RFI responses, RFP submissions, negotiations, and finalizing deals.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all communication and sales activities with potential clients.
• Collaborate closely with Routeware’s pre-sales, post-sales, and executive management teams to ensure that proposed solutions and services align seamlessly with customers’ business and technology requirements.
• Comply with all Routeware Sales, Human Resources, and corporate ethical policies, standards, and guidelines.
• Exhibit strong personal communication and presentation abilities to foster interest, credibility, and trust.
• Travel frequently to regional prospect and customer sites to aid lead generation, conduct sales presentations, negotiate contracts, and build ongoing relationships.
• Proven track record in new business acquisition and customer development within an enterprise software and/or IT services/technology landscape.
• Evidence of consistently exceeding client acquisition and sales revenue objectives.
• Demonstrated success with enterprise software products under licensing and SaaS frameworks.
• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of direct sales experience in an enterprise software and/or IT services/technology setting.
• Familiarity with the waste industry and/or sales of other fleet technology solutions is an advantage.
• Experience with vendor selection processes, including RFI issuance and response management for RFPs.
• Ability to maintain a strong focus on territory management throughout sales cycles that typically last from six months to one year.
• Proven ability to navigate complex negotiations with senior-level business and technology executives.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for customer interactions, proposal drafting, etc.
• Negotiation expertise for six and seven-figure enterprise-wide agreements.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
