This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +8 more states.
• Meet or surpass set annual revenue and expansion targets within the Midwest US region: ND, SD, NE, MN, IA, WI, IL, IN, MI, OH, WV, VA, MD
• Develop and sustain a robust, well-qualified pipeline across mid-sized and large school districts
• Enhance RethinkEd’s presence and acceptance within current districts by discovering new programs, stakeholders, and funding opportunities
• Build trustworthy relationships with district leaders in Special Education, MTSS, Student Services, Curriculum & Instruction, and related sectors
• Represent RethinkEd effectively at regional and state conferences, events, and during on-site district interactions
• Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Services, Marketing, and Enablement to ensure long-term district success, renewals, and growth
• Over 8 years of experience in a sales or account management position, preferably within K-12 education
• Proven capability to manage a sales territory, balance prospecting with account management, and consistently achieve targets
• In-depth knowledge of K-12 purchasing procedures, funding sources, and district decision-making processes
• Proficient in representing an organization at conferences and regional events, with the ability to convert in-person interactions into qualified opportunities
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing multiple stakeholders
• Highly driven, goal-focused, and adept at thriving in a fast-paced, mission-oriented environment
• Data-informed approach to sales management, with experience utilizing CRM systems and productivity tools
• Strong passion for enhancing student outcomes and providing educators with innovative solutions
• Experience in selling SaaS, curriculum, or professional development solutions to school districts is highly desirable
• Proficient in Salesforce and other sales productivity applications
• Bachelor’s degree in business, education, or a related field is preferred
