This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.
• Account Management: Take ownership of a portfolio of accounts, focusing on identifying growth opportunities, increasing existing customer ARR, and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Business Development: Initiate outbound calls and emails to create new business opportunities and proactively seek to acquire new customers. Oversee the entire sales cycle from the initial contact to closure.
• Sales Skills: Execute thorough discovery calls to comprehend prospect needs and challenges. Present engaging product demonstrations and presentations.
• Sales Strategy: Partner with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and the Marketing team to follow up on leads for pest control, lawn care, and HVAC companies.
• Trade Show Engagement: Participate in relevant trade shows and industry events to network, generate leads, and establish lasting relationships with potential clients. This will necessitate travel approximately 2-4 times per quarter.
• Consultative Selling: Offer consultative sales expertise to discern client needs and deliver customized solutions that yield measurable value, from enhancing technician efficiency to boosting customer retention.
• Pipeline Management: Sustain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects and accurately forecast using Applause's CRM tools.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure a smooth customer journey and maximize client satisfaction.
• 2+ years of B2B software sales experience. Experience in the field services sector (pest control, lawn care, HVAC, or other home services industries) is a plus.
• Sales Acumen: Proven ability to manage sales cycles, negotiate contracts, and close deals with a demonstrated history of consistently meeting or surpassing sales quotas.
• Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating value propositions and building trust with senior decision-makers.
• Adaptability: Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment, displaying a readiness to take ownership and adapt to changing strategies.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
• Technology: Familiarity with sales tools such as Hubspot, Apollo, LinkedIn, etc. (preferred but not mandatory).
