
Account Executive Lead – P&C Commercial Lines

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Oversees the overall client relationship to ensure a high account retention rate.
• Actively seeks new accounts through direct selling and cold calling.
• Manages the renewal process for existing business.
• Assesses the assigned client coverage portfolio to identify cross-selling opportunities and solicit additional lines of coverage.
• Provides account servicing and claims assistance as required.
• Analyzes the exposure base to pinpoint program deficiencies and formulate effective marketing strategies.
• Completes applications, secures quotes, negotiates premiums, creates coverage comparisons, and prepares proposals and presentations.
• Binds coverage, prepares binders, and issues certificates.
• Reviews coverage and determines the appropriate level of coverage needed.
• Meets with clients as necessary or as directed by the producer.
• Reviews accounting history, addresses accounting inquiries, rectifies discrepancies, and contacts clients regarding receivable collections.
• Acts as a technical expert, aiding department members in resolving complex issues.
• Provides mentoring and coaching to departmental staff in collaboration with the Unit Manager.
• Develops motivational action plans for personnel development alongside defined performance goals established by the Unit Manager.
• Supports the Unit Manager’s oversight in adhering to Corporate procedural guidelines.
• Collects fees, reconciles, and resolves any outstanding balances within 90 days of the invoice date.
• Adheres to agency management system data standards and ensures data integrity by entering and maintaining complete and accurate information.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree or a suitable combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant work experience.
• A valid insurance license.
• Must continue to fulfill Continuing Education requirements for license renewal.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
