This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.
• Strategically plan and implement sales capture initiatives to stimulate new customer growth within the International Defence sector, ensuring achievement of quarterly and annual objectives.
• Foster and sustain exceptional, long-term relationships with customers while establishing a network of key influencers and decision-makers to enhance demand.
• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of customer use cases, internal decision-making processes, and budget cycles essential for securing business.
• Offer thought leadership to create demand for Dataminr's Real Time Alerting products and explore methods for their integration into customer workflows.
• Deliver precise sales forecasts on a quarterly basis.
• Serve as a sector subject matter expert, providing strategic and tactical sales recommendations based on competitive dynamics, market trends, and innovations.
• Proficiency in prospecting, identifying, and developing multiple use cases, alongside nurturing strong relationships with senior leaders in the military community.
• A military background would be advantageous.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, coupled with 5+ years of proven success in enterprise software or SaaS sales.
• A demonstrated history of success in selling technology solutions, including negotiation and closing of strategic opportunities within the Defence/Military sector, particularly in the European defence arena.
• Outstanding communication skills for articulating clear value propositions through customer interactions, presentations, and written proposals.
• A solid understanding of open-source information for public sector advantage, along with the necessary security clearance to operate within the client environment.
