This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Drive revenue growth in the laboratory sector through strategic market penetration.
• Advocate for Ambry's array of genetic diagnostic testing services.
• Communicate the clinical and financial advantages of products to various stakeholders and call points.
• Oversee a designated sales territory.
• Reside within the assigned territory.
• Manage and nurture relationships within existing Ambry accounts.
• Increase menu utilization among current clients.
• Acquire new customers for genetic diagnostic testing services.
• Negotiate and oversee contracts.
• Launch new testing products into the market.
• Foster demand for and encourage the adoption of new assays.
• Create and execute tailored action plans for customers.
• Prepare and deliver engaging presentations.
• Organize and support trade shows.
• Maintain customer information in the company database.
• Meet and exceed sales targets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in selling laboratory services to clinicians and hospitals or in medical device sales.
• Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent years of experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experienced with CRM applications such as Salesforce or Microsoft CRM.
• Proven sales success in offering a diverse range of laboratory testing across various medical specialties.
• Capability to sell technically intricate products.
• Expertise in demand generation across a broad geographical area.
• Strong skills in networking and relationship building.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Some formal sales training experience, such as SPIN Selling or PSS.
• Strong skills in time and territory management.
• Must hold and maintain a current, valid driver’s license unless otherwise agreed upon.
