This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
• Master SHI’s value proposition to surpass revenue and profit objectives while developing effective sales strategies and pricing proposals.
• Nurture existing customer relationships and forge new ones through cold calling, meetings, and networking efforts.
• Identify and generate sales-pipeline opportunities to meet targets and expand both existing and new business.
• Collaborate with sales management to oversee opportunities and consistently achieve or exceed quarterly and annual goals.
• Partner with internal SHI support teams and external industry partners to enhance business and joint selling initiatives.
• Understand customers’ business objectives, IT priorities, and initiatives to deliver customized solutions.
• Effectively communicate SHI’s products, solutions, services, and capabilities to both customers and partners.
• Monitor competitive landscape and strategically position SHI’s offerings to secure new business.
• Foster cross-departmental relationships and utilize support resources to pinpoint opportunities.
• Enhance SHI's market presence through local and regional industry events, organizations, and affiliations.
• Stay informed on industry trends, products, and market conditions.
• A completed Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant work experience is required.
• At least 5 years of proven success in IT sales, ideally with an OEM or VAR.
• Experience in selling to Healthcare IT organizations or direct experience in Healthcare IT.
• A track record of surpassing sales quotas and establishing long-term client relationships.
• Strong knowledge of hospital systems, clinical workflows, and the drivers, challenges, and trends in the healthcare industry.
• Experience collaborating with or selling major IT OEMs in software, cybersecurity, data center and cloud, and end-user devices.
• A proven history of selling professional and managed services.
• Willingness to spend at least 50% of time outside the office engaging with existing and potential customers.
• Ability to travel to customer locations within the assigned territory.
• Capability to attend SHI, partner, and customer events as needed.
• Must currently hold or be able to obtain necessary sales and/or technical certifications within the first 90 days of employment.
• Intermediate skills in thriving within a team selling environment.
• Intermediate ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
• Intermediate expertise in client relationship management and new business development.
• Intermediate proficiency in account management and project management.
