This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +19 more states.
• Formulate and implement a strategic sales plan aimed at achieving or surpassing revenue targets for the designated territory.
• Identify and engage key decision-makers within public sector organizations to establish and nurture relationships.
• Perform comprehensive needs analysis to grasp the specific challenges and goals of potential customers.
• Oversee the sales process from initial prospecting through to contract negotiations, ensuring a consultative methodology.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams, including product and marketing, to customize solutions that align with customer requirements.
• Keep precise and current records of sales activities and customer interactions utilizing CRM software (Salesforce).
• Meet or surpass quarterly and yearly sales objectives, contributing to the overall expansion of Avolve Software.
• Remain informed about industry trends, market changes, and competitor actions within the Govtech sector.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Over 5 years of experience in enterprise sales, ideally within the SaaS or Govtech domains.
• Established history of meeting or exceeding sales targets and successfully closing large-scale public sector deals.
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the capability to influence decision-makers at all levels.
• Proficiency in Salesforce and other CRM tools for managing sales pipelines and customer interactions.
• Capacity to excel in a fast-paced, remote work environment while effectively managing time across multiple opportunities.
