This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +1 more state.
β’ Manage the daily operations for the designated portfolio of clients.
β’ Build and sustain robust relationships with clients and stakeholders.
β’ Ensure that client expectations are consistently met or surpassed through ongoing communication (both written and verbal) with clients and account team members, addressing any issues or challenges as they arise.
β’ Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of client organizations, their products, relevant disease states, and marketing goals.
β’ Oversee budgeting, financial monitoring, and reconciliation for each project.
β’ Seek and secure new business within existing accounts by drafting proposals, creating new business presentations, and engaging in regular onsite client meetings.
β’ Recruit and train account management personnel; create personalized career development plans, offer continuous feedback, and conduct performance evaluations for direct reports.
β’ Provide updates to senior management regarding account team activities, new business prospects, and financial analyses and forecasts.
β’ Allocate and oversee the workload of the account team.
β’ Collaborate with department managers to identify and manage both internal and external resources.
β’ Facilitate conflict resolution both within departments and among account team members.
β’ Engage in and/or lead team meetings.
β’ A minimum of seven years of relevant experience, including management roles, involvement with interdisciplinary teams, and marketing and/or communications in a scientific context is required.
β’ Preferred management experience in one or more of the following environments: pharmaceutical manufacturing, biotechnology, managed care hospitals, medical communications firms, or healthcare advertising agencies.
β’ Capability to quickly understand and retain scientific and technical concepts is essential.
β’ Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and strong presentation skills are mandatory.
β’ Business development skills are also required.
