This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership and guide the client's business within the agency.
• Lead the agency team with an in-depth understanding of marketing strategies, competitive environment, challenges, and opportunities that impact the brand, as well as market research methods, brand planning, promotional channels, scientific knowledge, and medical/legal standards.
• Cultivate and sustain senior-level client relationships, offering value as a strategic thinker, problem solver, and leader.
• Direct agency teams in the annual brand planning process.
• Build and nurture a strong, strategically focused client/agency team.
• Inspire and guide Account Supervisors and Senior Account Executives to provide significant value to our clients.
• Mentor team members in their career development and skill enhancement; conduct regular feedback sessions with direct reports and team members.
• Oversee and assess account financial performance, including team productivity and profitability.
• Collaborate with the creative team to initiate, develop, and deliver the highest quality creative output.
• Ensure effective management of issues related to timelines and cost efficiency.
• Suggest and oversee activities aimed at building client relationships.
• Develop, monitor, and/or enhance internal operating procedures in collaboration with the Project Management Department to ensure efficiency.
• Identify and engage in the creation of new business opportunities with current or potential clients.
• Must have a comprehensive and thorough understanding of the pharma/healthcare advertising sector.
• Possess digital marketing expertise and proven experience in leading an integrated agency team for brand planning, budget creation, execution, and assessment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple clients and account teams effectively.
• Demonstrated success in building valued relationships with senior-level client management.
• Proven success as a strategic partner to clients.
• Experience in digital and multi-channel marketing.
• Must have actively participated in new business initiatives including planning and pitch presentations.
• Proven track record of identifying opportunities and achieving organic client growth.
• Exceptional presentation skills.
• 12+ years of Brand AOR account experience, with 5+ years in a pharmaceutical advertising agency, preferably in unbranded, disease awareness, patient marketing, and education.
• 5+ years of leadership and supervisory experience.
• Required experience in developing, producing, and leading multi-channel marketing plans and initiatives.
• Candidates must demonstrate hands-on proficiency in creating and delivering presentations using PowerPoint.
• Must be willing to travel as needed for client business (client meetings, market research, etc.).
• BA/BS degree is required.
