This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Spearhead the growth of Civilian federal operations with a primary emphasis on acquiring new business, expanding accounts, and generating a robust pipeline across DHS, HHS, Treasury, and analogous agencies.
• Re-establish and enhance direct connections with mission owners, technical leaders, program offices, and executive stakeholders within Civilian agencies.
• Revive stalled discussions and cultivate new opportunities through proactive outreach and engagement with agencies.
• Facilitate executive-level conversations that position Oxygen as a trusted mission partner, rather than a mere transactional vendor.
• Manage the complete federal sales cycle from prospecting to closing, which includes shaping requirements, positioning solutions, pricing, proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution.
• Collaborate closely with our channel ecosystem to navigate procurement mechanisms and contracting avenues, while maintaining primary ownership of customer relationships and the demand generation process.
• Craft persuasive responses to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs in collaboration with our internal proposal, technical, and product teams.
• Uphold disciplined pipeline forecasting and ensure CRM accuracy.
• Act as a credible internal advocate for agency sentiment, mission priorities, and procurement dynamics, ensuring that our product, support, and leadership teams are aligned with the actual needs of Civilian customers.
• A minimum of five years of direct federal enterprise sales experience in software, cybersecurity, digital forensics, or other related technical solutions, with a proven track record of meeting quotas and generating pipelines.
• Proven success in advancing and closing business within Civilian agencies, with verifiable achievements, procurement pathways, and contract values.
• Established relationships with federal agencies and the capability to leverage these for direct engagement and pipeline development.
• Strong understanding of federal acquisition cycles, budget structures, and decision-making processes.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience in executive briefings and proposal development.
• Strong discipline in pipeline management and forecasting accuracy.
• Willingness to travel regularly to Washington, D.C. and other federal sites.
