
Account Executive – Field Based Sales, College Readiness

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Conduct research to identify potential sales opportunities within the designated region, targeting key contacts.
• Generate new sales leads through cold calling institutional prospects, leveraging both new and existing leads.
• Predict sales trends, create innovative sales strategies/models, and assess their effectiveness.
• Develop a sales pipeline through various channels including email, phone, trade show leads, and inbound website inquiries.
• Implement email campaigns to generate additional leads and inquiries.
• Deliver webinar presentations and orientations to inform advisors and faculty about UWorld's products and platform features.
• Collaborate with the sales and product development teams to gather market insights, product feedback, and customer takeaways.
• Prioritize meetings with decision-makers and conduct on-site presentations and sales demonstrations.
• Participate in conferences and tradeshows.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail while managing all sales activities, including notes, follow-ups, emails, and call logs.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales goals aligned with new revenue targets.
• Partner with Technical Account Managers to support new customers and ensure year-over-year retention of institutional relationships.
• Adapt to the evolving needs of a growing company.
• Engage in team meetings, taking responsibility for initiatives aimed at sales improvement and other assigned tasks.
• Route qualified leads to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closing activities.
• Show accountability by independently completing projects and assignments on time, ensuring that both self and others meet objectives and standards.
• Work with direct reports to ensure they have a personal and professional growth plan to enhance their knowledge, skills, and professional practices.
• Seek opportunities for personal development through meetings and educational programs.
• Minimum Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in science, marketing, communications, business, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum Experience Required:
• - At least five years of outside sales experience is essential.
• - Previous sales experience in education, ed tech, SaaS, or a similar industry is preferred.
• - Established contacts and relationships with local ISDs are advantageous.
• - Prior teaching or administrative experience is welcomed.
• - Ability to travel up to 70% within the defined geographic region.
• - Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and meet sales quotas.
• - Experience in qualifying opportunities, developing accounts, and managing time effectively.
