
Account Executive β Environmental Health & Safety

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Act as a reliable advisor and strategic collaborator to leaders in Environmental Health & Safety, Facilities, Sustainability, and Risk Management across various sectors, including manufacturing, industrial, life sciences, healthcare, commercial real estate, higher education, and other regulated industries.
β’ Utilize an established network and industry connections to create new business opportunities and enhance EBI's EHS consulting services.
β’ Formulate and implement strategic account plans aimed at driving revenue growth for both current clients and new accounts.
β’ Recognize client challenges related to regulatory compliance, workplace safety, environmental risk, industrial hygiene, and environmental management programs, aligning EBI's solutions to meet those requirements.
β’ Oversee intricate sales cycles from prospecting and qualification to proposal development, contract negotiations, and closure.
β’ Work in collaboration with technical subject matter experts to craft tailored solutions and engaging client presentations.
β’ Participate in industry conferences, association gatherings, and networking events to enhance market presence and cultivate qualified opportunities.
β’ Achieve and surpass sales objectives, revenue targets, and key performance indicators.
β’ Keep track of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive activities to pinpoint emerging opportunities and refine sales strategies.
β’ Ensure accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and client activity reporting within CRM systems.
β’ Build and maintain long-term client relationships that promote repeat business, cross-selling opportunities, and strategic growth.
β’ Engage in team meetings and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the sales organization.
β’ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution with a concentration in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Management, or a related discipline.
β’ At least 5+ years of proven experience in business development, account management, or consultative sales within Environmental Health & Safety, environmental consulting, industrial hygiene, occupational health and safety, engineering consulting, or similar professional services.
β’ Demonstrated expertise in selling solutions and services to leaders in EHS, Facilities, Sustainability, Risk Management, or Compliance.
β’ Established network of EHS and environmental compliance professionals capable of leveraging relationships to generate new business opportunities.
β’ Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales goals and revenue targets.
β’ Strong comprehension of environmental compliance, occupational health and safety programs, industrial hygiene services, and regulatory requirements affecting corporate EHS organizations.
β’ Outstanding presentation, communication, and relationship-building abilities, with a knack for engaging executive-level decision-makers.
β’ Capacity to recognize client challenges and develop consultative, value-oriented solutions.
β’ Experience in managing lengthy and complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
β’ Exceptional organizational, project management, and time-management skills.
β’ Proficient in using CRM and lead management platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
