This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.
• Become a subject matter expert on our products and assist customers in utilizing Linear effectively; guide potential clients through the trial and evaluation stages.
• Develop a robust pipeline and surpass quarterly sales targets.
• Keep abreast of our product offerings, industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to consistently refine sales strategies and approaches for optimal effectiveness.
• Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders within client accounts; gain a deep understanding of client needs, align Linear’s solutions with business goals, and shape decision-making criteria. Communicate and align our value proposition effectively to decision-makers.
• Serve as the voice of the customer; advocate for clients by identifying product or adoption challenges and relaying them to our product team.
• Contribute to building the foundational structure and defining our enterprise sales process.
• A minimum of 7 years in a sales role with quota responsibilities.
• Proven experience in selling a technical product to engineering and product leadership; experience in selling collaboration or project management software is a plus.
• Background in SaaS and startups; ability to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced and flexible environment.
• Capability to comprehend complex client requirements, craft customized discovery sessions, and drive sales through consultative techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and product demonstration abilities.
• Highly self-motivated with a proactive approach. Possess an owner’s mindset to quickly familiarize oneself with the product, market, ideal customer profile, and unique differentiators.
