This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
• Drive sales revenue and enhance overall market share within the designated regional territory as instructed.
• Pursue new business opportunities and develop innovative methods for acquiring business.
• Execute strategic business plans aimed at achieving a 10% annual increase in market share, fulfilling the specific goals outlined for the role and territory.
• Oversee the clinical demonstration process for qualified target accounts within the territory, either personally or as directed, and actively pursue these accounts through successful business closures.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Sales Specialist to coordinate the pre-demonstration (pre-demo) processes essential for a successful clinical demonstration.
• Cultivate relationships with existing customer accounts through regular calls, product demonstrations, product in-services, and a positive demeanor.
• Establish connections with Physicians, Nurses, Technicians, Biomedical personnel, Materials Management staff, hospital administration, and external consultants.
• Serve as a primary resource for training customers on the appropriate use of equipment in clinical environments.
• Gain expertise in the proper reprocessing techniques mandated by AER manufacturers for their products.
• Submit weekly and/or monthly reports to the direct supervisor as required, in a timely and consistent manner.
• Provide and manage customer data for integration into a future database application.
• Participate in local, regional, and national trade shows as requested by the direct supervisor or Executive Management.
• A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related quantitative field, along with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of field sales experience is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in various situations.
• Capability to thrive in fast-paced, competitive settings.
• Strong interpersonal skills that facilitate the development of robust customer relationships.
• Proficient in operating a computer effectively, including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
• Competent in using MS Outlook and other email applications.
• Ability to communicate professionally with both internal and external customers.
• Effective time management skills and adherence to regional budget requirements.
• Must be capable of multitasking and managing several projects simultaneously.
• Skilled in report writing and accurately relaying information in a timely manner.
• Ability to prioritize customer needs effectively.
• Comfortable speaking in front of small groups.
• Capable of communicating technical information professionally and concisely.
• Understanding of basic mathematical requirements for discount calculations.
• Adhere to all applicable U.S. Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) medical device regulatory requirements, relevant ISO 13485 standard requirements, and all other pertinent laws, regulations, and standards.
• Meet and pass all vendor credentialing requirements necessary for gaining access to hospitals and facilities to carry out assigned job duties.
