This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Formulate and implement a sales strategy for the territory aimed at generating new business opportunities with K–12 schools and school districts.
• Create and uphold a robust sales pipeline through outbound prospecting, cold calling, referrals, networking, and lead generation initiatives.
• Execute in-person meetings, virtual presentations, phone calls, and email outreach to forge relationships with school administrators and district decision-makers.
• Achieve or surpass set sales targets through proficient pipeline management and disciplined sales practices.
• Identify and address Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and other competitive bidding opportunities.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and partnership agreements with potential customers.
• Cultivate trusted relationships with school leaders, administrators, and district stakeholders throughout the sales journey.
• Provide engaging presentations and product demonstrations that effectively convey the value and impact of Yondr's solutions.
• Collaborate with current customers to uncover referral opportunities and enhance the regional market presence.
• Represent Yondr with professionalism while acting as a trusted advisor to potential educational partners.
• Maintain precise customer records, pipeline activities, forecasts, and sales documentation within the company's CRM system.
• Work closely with Implementation, Customer Success, and Account Management teams to ensure smooth customer onboarding and successful transitions after contract execution.
• Engage in ongoing sales training, professional development, and product education to enhance sales effectiveness and industry knowledge.
• Represent Yondr at regional and national education conferences, trade shows, and industry events to create awareness and new business prospects.
• Undertake additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals.
• A minimum of two (2) years of professional sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales objectives.
• Experience in outbound prospecting, cold calling, lead generation, and pipeline management.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% for customer meetings, conferences, and business development efforts.
• Possession of a valid U.S. driver's license and the capability to travel throughout the designated territory.
• A consultative, relationship-driven approach to selling, emphasizing a strong customer-first attitude.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
• Capacity to build trust and credibility with school administrators and executive-level decision-makers.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple opportunities concurrently.
• Self-driven and highly independent, demonstrating excellent follow-through and accountability.
• Comfortable navigating a dynamic, fast-paced, and rapidly changing environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, capable of tailoring solutions to meet customer needs.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and standard business productivity software.
