This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities in areas such as data platform modernization, knowledge architecture, context engineering, and enterprise data consulting initiatives.
• Facilitate discovery discussions that align client data challenges with quantifiable business results, building a compelling case for transformation.
• Oversee and implement complete sales cycles, from initial prospecting to proposal development, negotiation, and early project delivery handoff.
• Navigate complex purchasing groups and multi-stakeholder decision-making processes using structured methodologies like MEDDIC.
• Collaborate with delivery and technical teams to design solutions and draft statements of work.
• Engage in co-selling efforts with technology partners within the data and AI ecosystem to generate and enhance the sales pipeline.
• Utilize AI tools to improve efficiency throughout your sales process, from prospecting and outreach to pipeline management and reporting.
• Ensure accurate forecasting and consistent achievement of revenue goals.
• Occasional travel required within North America.
• A minimum of 4 years of B2B sales experience in data platforms, data consulting, analytics, knowledge management, or related services and systems integration.
• Demonstrated success in closing complex, multi-month deals at 6- and occasionally 7-figure amounts.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, data platforms, knowledge management, semantic search, or AI data infrastructure; capable of engaging with a CDO, Head of Data, or enterprise architect without extensive technical support.
• Experience in selling to high-level stakeholders, including CDOs, CTOs, CIOs, VPs of Data, and VPs of Digital, while navigating multi-threaded buying groups.
• Proven capability to independently generate a sales pipeline and gain traction in a developing practice area.
• Familiarity with structured sales methodologies such as MEDDIC.
• Experience in creating statements of work and working with delivery teams to align on scope and risk.
• Proficient in utilizing AI tools throughout your sales process: automation, prospecting, outreach, and pipeline management. You recognize where AI adds value and where human insight remains essential.
• Highly self-motivated with the ability to initiate progress and function with discipline in uncertain environments.
• Based in Canada; eligible for remote work.
