Account Executive – Business Development Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the sales process from initiation to closure, achieving monthly goals and generating revenue for OFX.

• Engage confidently and professionally with prospective clients through web conferencing, email, phone, and face-to-face meetings.

• Leverage a solid understanding of business and finance operations to effectively communicate, sell, and negotiate with Finance Leaders, Controllers, Accountants, and C-level executives.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure clients navigate the onboarding process smoothly.

• Maintain thorough and precise records of client relationships within Salesforce.

• Stay informed on OFX products and solutions, understanding their value in comparison to competitors in the market.

• Achieve and surpass revenue sales goals while sustaining a robust pipeline of new potential clients.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a complete sales cycle closing role in SMB and/or Mid-Market B2B SaaS, payments, or foreign exchange (FX).

• A post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.

• Strong familiarity with the SaaS and/or FX sales process targeted at SMB and/or Mid-Market segments.

• A consultative sales methodology, demonstrating the ability to educate clients and customize solutions to meet their specific needs.

• Proven experience in selling to finance leaders, CPAs, accounting firms, bookkeepers, and the banking sector.

• Proficient with SaaS applications, capable of translating technical features into business advantages for clients.

• Comfortable with web conferencing tools for conducting product demonstrations and presentations.

• Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, particularly Salesforce.
