This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Oversee the complete sales process from identifying potential clients to finalizing agreements, negotiating terms, closing deals, and managing referrals/upselling.
• Create and present compelling presentations, demos, and proposals tailored for tech buyers in the USA.
• Engage in outbound sales efforts, including making phone calls, sending emails, running campaigns, and organizing and conducting demos.
• Assess incoming inquiries and effectively progress them through the sales pipeline.
• Foster strong relationships with current customers by understanding their business needs and providing additional Docsumo solutions to drive growth.
• Achieve or surpass key sales activity targets related to the revenue pipeline, including calls, emails, qualified opportunities, and secured demos to enhance client acquisition and retention.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and other key stakeholders to share feedback and suggest best practices, successes, and product improvements.
• Ensure accuracy of customer information within the CRM system to enable effective reporting and analytics.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or business development, with at least 2 years in a closing role.
• Experience in carrying or holding a sales quota in previous positions (preferably handling deals in the range of 50k-100k USD).
• Prior sales experience targeting operations or technology teams is required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of articulating and presenting ideas clearly both verbally and in writing.
• Highly self-motivated, sociable, and committed to achieving results within set deadlines.
• A growth mindset with a readiness to learn and grow professionally.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Google Docs, Gmail, Hubspot, and other CRM systems.
• Must be a collaborative team player who is willing to go the extra mile.
• Previous experience working with "C" and "D" level executives is preferred.
• Comfortable working in the EST time zone (8 am to 5 pm EST).
