This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.
• Formulate a strategy to prioritize, target, and secure significant opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Conduct account planning for designated accounts, collaborating with pre-sales and other resources to ensure strategic coherence.
• Initiate and facilitate sales of Workday solutions to Large Enterprise prospects while conveying Workday's value proposition.
• Take responsibility for building relationships with new customers, concentrating on deal management and connecting clients with Workday solutions, especially core financials.
• Negotiate agreements with various C-Suite Executives to finalize opportunities.
• Keep accurate and timely records of customer/prospect data, pipeline status, and service forecasts.
• Over 5 years of experience in selling SaaS/Cloud-based ERP/HCM/Financial/Planning/Analytics solutions to C-level executives from a field sales role.
• More than 5 years of experience working collaboratively with internal teams (pre-sales, value, inside sales) to meet quotas while managing multiple deals simultaneously.
• At least 5 years of experience handling longer deal cycles, including prospecting for a portion of opportunities.
• Demonstrated ability to understand the strategic competitive landscape of the industry by remaining informed about trends and customer requirements, thus effectively positioning Workday solutions within accounts.
• Capable of rapidly establishing trust with key stakeholders.
• Previous experience partnering with internal team members on account strategies for both short-term and long-term prospecting and territory management.
