This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +11 more states.
• The Account Executive, Legacy is responsible for providing strategic guidance for direct marketing fundraising initiatives across a portfolio of nonprofit organization clients.
• Act as a client relationship manager, collaborating with a team to implement direct marketing fundraising programs.
• Possess experience in legacy giving and legacy marketing.
• For small to mid-sized clients, create annual plans with support from the Account Lead.
• Prepare expense estimates for annual plans with assistance from the Account Lead.
• Analyze and present results of programs and projects.
• Supervise the annual expenditures of clients.
• Offer strategic direction for client marketing fundraising projects, understanding their significance in enhancing the overall client program strategy.
• Manage the production process and creative development for projects.
• Draft and aid in the presentation of strategy decks with support from the Account Lead.
• Oversee the execution of year-long direct marketing timelines.
• Direct and support copywriters and designers to ensure that the creative output aligns with the overarching project and program strategy.
• Manage account and production team service delivery to the client, including resolving issues and ensuring accountability for any errors.
• For integrated clients, coordinate with both offline and digital teams to develop multi-channel campaigns and wrap-up presentations.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, guaranteeing satisfaction with day-to-day services.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising and/or advocacy, including at least 2 to 4 years focused on nonprofit planned giving fundraising and marketing.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Proficient in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Demonstrated effective utilization of digital tools for managing internal and external workflows and communications (including email, chat, Zoom, and online workflow tools).
• Knowledge of production processes.
• Additional preferred experience includes multi-channel exposure, especially in digital marketing.
• Experience interacting with donors in planned giving fundraising is beneficial/preferred.
• Familiarity or interest in exploring the ethical implications of AI tools and agents.
