This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Promote and provide service for eyewear products by managing current accounts and exploring new opportunities.
• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the company's services, products, and marketing strategies.
• Create innovative sales strategies to engage prospects, generating sales opportunities and boosting revenue.
• Build and foster strong business relationships with both existing and potential customers.
• Actively represent the eyewear division in all sales-related activities to the customer base.
• Operate independently while collaborating with relevant partners, teams, and colleagues to surpass quota targets.
• Implement creative ideas and solutions to address customers’ business challenges.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest knowledge of existing and new products and services.
• Identify and relay future customer needs and feedback to the relevant divisions within VSP.
• Serve as a liaison among various VSP departments and customers to ensure that service standards and expectations are met.
• Work in conjunction with marketing and product development teams to meet customer requirements and analyze market trends.
• Utilize a sales automation system for inquiries, record maintenance, and report preparation.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Over three years of sales experience, showcasing account management, service, negotiation skills, and established customer relationships.
• Results-oriented achiever with excellent planning and organizational abilities, coupled with a keen attention to detail.
• Proven history of meeting sales and revenue targets within small to medium-sized accounts.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation capabilities.
• Demonstrated experience in developing business-to-business relationships.
• Highly adaptable, optimistic, resilient, and patient risk-taker open to new concepts.
• Resourceful team player skilled at establishing trust with customers and colleagues.
• Innovative problem-solver capable of generating viable solutions and addressing issues.
• Flexible team player who excels in environments that require effective prioritization and management of multiple concurrent sales opportunities.
• Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively shares information both verbally and in writing.
• Highly motivated self-starter who demonstrates initiative with minimal oversight.
• Willingness to travel more than 50% of the time.
• Clean driving record.
• Capacity to meet and maintain any necessary agent licensing requirements for any state(s) within the assigned sales territory.
• Eligible for bonuses and commissions.
