This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +1 more state.
• The Account Executive serves a dual function, focusing on driving sales growth and enhancing Trimble's market presence within a designated region.
• This position encompasses strategic account management, new business development, and leading the transition of clients from traditional models to advanced, subscription-based solutions.
• Formulate and implement a regional sales strategy aimed at achieving sales goals and broadening the customer base.
• Spearhead the shift of current customers to subscription-based models, clearly articulating the value and advantages involved.
• Discover and pursue new business opportunities within the region through cold calling, networking, and utilizing existing relationships.
• Cultivate and strengthen relationships with existing accounts to ensure customer success and satisfaction.
• Create and present sales proposals, quotes, and contracts with precise pricing and configurations.
• Work in collaboration with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure sales strategies align with company objectives.
• Offer market insights to company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs, and generate ideas for product development.
• Attend and engage in customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events to advocate for Trimble solutions.
• Mentor, lead, and assist sales team members within the region, promoting a culture of success and achievement of goals.
• Demonstrated experience in sales and account management within the transportation, logistics, or technology sectors.
• Strong grasp of cloud-based architecture and the value proposition associated with subscription models.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Proficiency in CRM software, ideally Salesforce, along with Google Workspace.
• Experience in selling software solutions to the transportation or logistics market is preferred.
• Familiarity with Trimble Transportation’s product offerings and the wider transportation technology landscape is preferred.
