This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.
• Prospect: Develop and implement strategies to identify and qualify new growth opportunities through various methods, including in-person and virtual meetings, emails, phone calls, and campaigns.
• Manage Opportunities: Oversee the opportunity pipeline, engaging with multiple decision-makers to ensure effective communication and consensus throughout the opportunity's lifecycle, while leveraging networking to enhance opportunity value.
• Consultative Solution Sell: Conduct research and offer solutions that align with customers' specific challenges and strategic objectives. Collaborate with the account team and both internal and external partners to create winning solutions.
• Close Business: Effectively close business that has moved beyond needs assessment, and independently create compelling presentations to address late-stage obstacles, thereby gaining customer confidence and support.
• K-12 Education Competence: Have an extensive understanding of the K-12 education landscape, encompassing public, private, and parochial schools, along with a strong grasp of K-12 districts, school administrative roles, funding, purchasing behaviors, policies, practices, trends, and school board oversight.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in educational software sales.
• Proficiency in collaboration tools such as Outlook and Microsoft Teams.
• Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and other sales technologies, including Salesforce and MS Dynamics.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies applicable to the assigned territory.
