• Achieve and surpass your sales targets by identifying, qualifying, and securing new business opportunities with commercial and enterprise-level clients.
• Innovatively source new leads and strategically position Rapid7's solutions to meet their requirements, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Stay informed about competitor offerings and adeptly assess their strengths and weaknesses.
• Transform client feedback into actionable strategies that drive new business, influence client decisions, and advocate for their needs to negotiate mutually beneficial solutions.
• Collaborate closely and communicate effectively with various functional teams, including Sales Engineering, Sales Operations, Channel, and Customer Success, to ensure seamless implementation and promote ongoing account growth.
• Accurately log, update, and maintain daily activities, forecasts, and opportunity data in Salesforce.
• Over 5 years of full-cycle sales experience in a software or technology company within the cybersecurity sector.
• Proven success in driving revenue through effective prospecting, generating new business, and sustainably expanding existing accounts.
• Previous experience utilizing channel partners throughout the deal cycle to meet revenue objectives.
• Capable of working independently and under pressure, with a high level of responsiveness to clients.
• Quick learner who can adapt to rapidly changing business priorities.
• Strong critical thinking abilities demonstrated in various situations, showcasing drive, initiative, energy, and urgency in client acquisition and service.
• A mindset of "Never Done," with a deep self-awareness of personal strengths and weaknesses.
• An "Impact Together" approach that encourages team learning and growth, focusing on progress rather than perfection.
• Willingness to travel 25% for client meetings as required.
