This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provides assistance to Brokers, Underwriters, or Team Leaders concerning all policies and key accounts.
• Collaborates with Brokers to solicit, promote, sell, quote, and maintain renewals from existing agents while also supporting new business initiatives.
• Drives new and renewal business to meet production and market criteria as specified by the Broker with minimal supervision.
• Negotiates terms with underwriters, including pricing, deductibles, enhancements, and exclusions.
• Selects carriers to approach for accounts.
• Assists and provides quotes for new business, renewals, and endorsements by managing all company correspondence promptly.
• Prepares recommendations for agents, presenting factual information regarding optimal coverage options.
• Processes new business, which includes converting applications to CRC applications, issuing binders and invoices, and verifying policy coverages for accuracy according to CRC guidelines.
• Manages renewal business processes that may involve locating files, preparing and sending solicitor letters and preliminary submission information, issuing binders and invoices, and ensuring policy coverages adhere to CRC guidelines.
• Obtains confirmations from retailers when accounts are bound.
• Handles cancellation and endorsement requests, including issuing binders and invoices, and checking policy coverages for accuracy based on CRC guidelines.
• Prepares company profiles and conducts research analysis for client visits.
• Provides guidance and supervision to the team as requested by the Broker.
• Manages incoming calls from producers and companies.
• Maintains positive working relationships with current agents and colleagues.
• Stays updated on the insurance industry and sales strategies through regular participation in workshops, seminars, literature reviews, and formal continuing education.
• Performs additional duties, tasks, responsibilities, and projects as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years of wholesale insurance experience or its equivalent.
• Proficient in specific account handling and marketing.
• Valid state-specific insurance license.
• Extensive knowledge of insurance and related processes.
• Capable of reviewing information, making decisions, and managing time efficiently with little to no supervision.
• Skilled in planning, organizing, and managing multiple priorities.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation abilities.
• Capable of handling confidential matters appropriately.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office software products.
• Ability to travel occasionally, including overnight trips.
