This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Ensure a smooth customer experience from sales through to service delivery
• Act as the primary liaison for designated broker firms
• Address customer service inquiries via phone and email
• Supply precise information and solutions related to benefit administration, enrollment modifications, ID cards, and effective dates
• Recognize and collaborate with pertinent internal departments
• Elevate customer issues through proper channels for prompt resolution
• Keep customers updated regarding the status and results of support cases
• Educate customers on CRC Benefits services
• Regularly follow up on service matters and adjust support based on evolving customer needs
• Resolve disputes, address issues, and provide constructive feedback to management
• Investigate carrier administrative processes, product availability, and product specifics
• Acquire knowledge of customer-facing products and internal system operations
• Deliver exceptional service to both existing growth brokers and new brokers
• Foster customer loyalty and utilize data and metrics to influence customer behaviors
• Uphold the confidentiality of company information
• Meet phone and electronic service targets
• Engage in regular team meetings and contribute to enhancing customer satisfaction
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by management
• Associate degree or equivalent
• Over 2 years of experience in a related sales or priority customer support role
• Proficient understanding of medical conditions, terminology, and insurance products
• Previous experience managing multiple customer service challenges
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
• Familiarity with carrier plan features, benefits, HIPAA laws and regulations, and underwriting guidelines
• Capable of reading, analyzing, and interpreting Explanations of Benefits (EOB)
• Ability to comprehend and interpret underwriting procedures, requirements, regulations, and contracts
• Knowledge of insurance products, ideally acquired through experience in insurance marketing or sales
• Awareness of security protocols for Personal Health Information (PHI)
• Capacity to work effectively within and contribute to a positive team atmosphere
• Skill in completing tasks promptly while managing multiple priorities
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Exchange, Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome
• Life and Health Insurance License is preferred
• Flexibility to work occasional long, irregular hours during peak periods
• Ability to sit, frequently communicate, occasionally stand, walk, bend, crawl, kneel, and lift up to 25 lbs
