This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities within Civiteq’s targeted sectors, primarily focusing on Local Government while also expanding into Central Government, Education, Blue Light, and Health & Social Care.
• Develop and oversee a robust pipeline, transforming initial engagements into qualified opportunities and revenue streams.
• Facilitate commercial discussions with senior stakeholders, including those in organizations where Civiteq has limited presence.
• Propel revenue growth in alignment with individual and team objectives.
• Cultivate and enhance key client accounts, pinpointing avenues for expansion.
• Establish and maintain account plans that promote long-term, sustainable growth.
• Build trusted relationships by grasping client challenges and aligning tailored solutions accordingly.
• Collaborate closely with delivery teams to ensure a seamless transition from sales to delivery.
• Remain engaged with key accounts, aiding client success and recognizing further opportunities.
• Gather client feedback to inform continuous improvement of services and offerings.
• Maintain a strong understanding of the public sector landscape, especially Local Government, while gaining insights across other sectors.
• Contribute to the development of propositions and the go-to-market strategy.
• Establish a network among clients, partners, and the broader sector to facilitate growth.
• Assist in marketing initiatives, including campaigns and events, to generate new business opportunities.
• Demonstrated experience in business development, account management, or sales, preferably within consulting or professional services.
• Proven success in acquiring new business and expanding client accounts.
• Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and leading commercial discussions.
• Ideally, experience working within or in conjunction with the public sector, with considerable exposure to Local Government and/or experience in developing new opportunities in other public sector markets such as Central Government, Education, Blue Light, or Health & Social Care.
• Proven ability to develop new markets and create opportunities across diverse public sector environments, including identifying entry points, establishing credibility, and converting initial conversations into a sales pipeline.
• Strong commercial insight, with the aptitude to build and manage a sales pipeline effectively.
• Confident communicator capable of influencing and establishing trust with senior audiences.
• Ability to comprehend client challenges and translate them into persuasive solutions.
• Excellent collaboration skills, effectively working across sales and delivery teams.
• Organized and proactive, able to manage multiple opportunities concurrently using HubSpot CRM.
• Salary: £80,000 – £95,000 per annum (based on experience) + Commission.
• This position is fully remote, although travel to client sites will be necessary.
