This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania, +1 more state.
• Drive New Business Development: Identify, engage, and secure new municipal clients within designated territories.
• Cultivate Strategic Partnerships: Establish trusted relationships with key stakeholders in local government agencies.
• Take Ownership of Territory Strategy: Collaborate with sales leadership and marketing to implement targeted account plans and pipeline strategies.
• Lead Consultative Sales Processes: Assess client challenges and present BS&A solutions to enhance municipal operations.
• Utilize Insight-Driven Sales Techniques: Perform in-depth research to comprehend organizational priorities, funding mechanisms, and decision-making structures.
• Maintain Pipeline Integrity: Effectively manage opportunities and forecasting within Salesforce.
• Engage Through Multiple Channels: Employ a multi-faceted approach (email, phone, video, social media) to foster engagement and advancement.
• Represent BS&A in the Marketplace: Attend industry events, trade shows, and deliver presentations.
• Achieve Results: Consistently meet and surpass quarterly and annual revenue goals.
• Travel: Willingness to travel up to 20% for client meetings and industry events.
• Over 10 years of sales experience, ideally in governmental or related software sectors.
• Strong background in prospecting, territory management, and cold calling.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
• Skill in building and nurturing relationships with potential clients.
• Positive and proactive demeanor, with the capability to navigate uncertainty and work collaboratively within a growing team.
