β’ Act as the main point of contact for designated public entity clients, delivering reliable risk management and insurance advisory services.
β’ Attain a comprehensive understanding of client operations, risks, governance frameworks, and budget limitations.
β’ Facilitate regular client strategy meetings, stewardship reviews, and renewal presentations.
β’ Provide guidance to clients on risk transfer, coverage frameworks, limits, deductibles, and alternative risk financing options (such as pools, captives, and self-insurance).
β’ Identify and seek new public entity opportunities through referrals, RFPs, networking, and participation in the industry.
β’ Lead or assist in responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Qualifications (RFQs), and bidding processes.
β’ Increase revenue by cross-selling and upselling additional coverage lines and services.
β’ Maintain an active pipeline while meeting or exceeding set sales and retention targets.
β’ A valid state Property & Casualty insurance license is required.
β’ Preferred professional designations include: CPCU, ARM, CIC, AA.
β’ A Bachelorβs degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, Public Administration, or a related field is preferred.
β’ A minimum of 5β10 years of insurance experience, particularly with public entity or large commercial accounts.
β’ Demonstrated experience in managing intricate insurance programs for governmental or quasi-governmental organizations.
