This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Prepares proposals to fulfill coverage needs for agents/brokers’ risks.
• Offers advice and recommendations to Producers and agents/brokers based on specialized knowledge of insurance markets and products.
• Collaborates with agents/brokers to assess their requirements and identify suitable coverage.
• Negotiates policy terms and coverage with both the carrier and agent/broker.
• Organizes policy files according to established protocols.
• Reviews policies for precision and accuracy.
• Inputs and maintains data in the AMS360 computer system.
• Establishes and oversees the policy renewal system.
• Processes claims and policy modifications.
• Invoices premiums in the management system for carrier payments and payment collections.
• Submits all surplus lines filing requests to the appropriate parties.
• Cultivates and sustains positive relationships by engaging with brokers.
• Assists the Profit Center in reviewing and qualifying new business submissions as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree with two to five years of experience in commercial insurance or managing general agency, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Property and Casualty Insurance License is preferred (mandatory within 90 days of hire).
• Understanding of general insurance processing functions.
• Comprehensive knowledge of insurance policies, forms, and applications.
• Familiarity with multi-line Property and Casualty coverage and products.
• Awareness of sales and marketing principles.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete tasks within specified timeframes.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• High level of motivation to engage effectively within a team.
• Proven ability to work efficiently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel occasionally, which may involve driving a personal or rental vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory motor vehicle record at the time of hire and periodically thereafter.
• Must maintain minimum acceptable insurance coverages and limits as defined by Arrowhead/Brown & Brown.
• AMS360 knowledge is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is preferred.
