• You will cultivate a thorough technical knowledge of Axon’s Air products and technology solutions to effectively engage with domestic law enforcement agencies within your territory.
• You will collaborate with the wider Axon sales team as a subject matter expert on the Air program, promoting Air as a specialized offering.
• You will utilize Google alerts, RFP requests, and various other resources to generate leads and pursue potential opportunities.
• You are customer-focused, possessing an understanding of the customer's business and workflows; you can establish a proper contact network within assigned accounts and build relationships to enhance overall customer satisfaction.
• You will create and implement account strategies by working with the team to provide stronger and more impactful value propositions.
• You will make sales forecasts, keep management updated on accounts promptly, gather intelligence on competitor activities, and provide feedback to marketing for ongoing improvements.
• You will monitor customer interactions in Salesforce and other internal systems to execute account strategies and uncover additional opportunities.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• A minimum of 5 years in a SaaS Account Executive position.
• Experience with Salesforce or a comparable CRM system.
• Highly proficient in computer applications, including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent organizational and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel 60% or more within your territory (3-4 days a week, including overnight stays).
• Strong knowledge of drones, cloud computing, and virtualization technologies.
• Ability to strategically approach and secure accounts while also expanding existing ones.
• A collaborative team player who supports colleagues in achieving success.
• You focus on a Solutions/Consultative sales methodology to guarantee the right fit and long-term success with your clients.
• Comprehensive experience in the sales process, particularly in prospecting, discovery, objection handling, and closing deals.
• Prepared to take ownership of and drive success in a multi-state territory.
• Capability to work in an entrepreneurial manner within a new initiative for the company.
• Experience in startups and some sector-specific expertise is advantageous.
• A desire to make a societal impact and grow within the organization.
