This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Surpass monthly revenue and lead targets with a focus on executing customer segment strategies.
• This role involves a regional assignment, requiring residency and travel within the designated area to foster relationships and generate leads.
• Ensure an exceptional buying experience for prospects, customers, and resellers.
• Leverage Salesforce.com and Gong to oversee leads, activities, and opportunities to close revenue while providing insights to leadership.
• Represent AvidXchange and its offerings in a professional manner.
• Generate customer enthusiasm by demonstrating how to utilize AvidXchange solutions.
• Foster a collaborative team environment by sharing best practices and maintaining a positive mindset.
• Effectively prioritize and optimize calling time and appointments to generate leads, expedite decision-making, and close sales.
• Achieve minimum productivity standards and service levels established by the company.
• Highly adept at cultivating relationships with senior decision-makers, particularly within the Corporate Payments sector including AP Managers, Controllers, CFOs, CEOs, and IT professionals.
• Ability to comprehend strategic priorities, business requirements, and pain points.
• Identify opportunities and provide recommendations to leadership regarding effective strategies to sell AvidXchange solutions.
• Capable of employing a 'solutions selling approach' to guide new customers through the decision-making process.
• Results-driven and able to succeed through self-motivation.
• Proficient in creating a compelling rationale for purchasing through well-defined marketing messaging and the presentation of AvidXchange's value propositions.
• Skilled at overcoming objections, both business-related and competitive, to progress and secure opportunities.
• Efficient in time management leading to enhanced productivity.
• Technically proficient in using and demonstrating AvidXchange products.
• Thoughtful about pricing and possesses strong negotiation skills.
• Proactive and self-motivated in learning.
• Quick to learn and adapt to changes and new technologies.
• Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time.
• Generally requires a University Degree or equivalent experience along with a minimum of 3 years of relevant prior experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, marketing, accounting, computer science, or a related field with at least 3 years of specific vertical experience.
• Experience in both inside and outside sales, preferably within a financial services firm, software and/or technology firm, or a related industry.
• Knowledge of accounting processes (AR/AP) and accounting systems.
• Experience with automated accounts payable solutions and/or selling utilities solutions is preferred.
• Competitive understanding of the AP landscape is preferred.
• Proficiency with Salesforce.com or other comparable contact management systems.
• Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
• Previous experience in SAAS, AP Automation, and B2B Payments selling is preferred.
