β’ Act as the main point of contact for designated public entity clients, delivering reliable risk management and insurance consulting services.
β’ Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of client operations, risks, governance frameworks, and budget limitations.
β’ Organize regular client strategy sessions, stewardship assessments, and renewal discussions.
β’ Provide guidance to clients on risk transfer, coverage frameworks, limits, deductibles, and alternative risk financing options (such as pools, captives, and self-insurance).
β’ Identify and seek out new public entity opportunities through referrals, RFPs, networking, and active participation in the industry.
β’ Lead or assist in preparing responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Qualifications (RFQs), and bidding processes.
β’ Increase revenue by cross-selling and upselling additional coverage lines and services.
β’ Maintain a robust pipeline and consistently meet or surpass set sales and retention objectives.
β’ A valid state Property & Casualty insurance license is required.
β’ Preferred professional designations include: CPCU, ARM, CIC, AA.
β’ A bachelorβs degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, Public Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
β’ A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in insurance, with a strong emphasis on public entity or large commercial accounts.
β’ Demonstrated experience in managing intricate insurance programs for governmental or quasi-governmental organizations.
