This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive new business initiatives and enhance profitability in the region by fostering organic growth within existing accounts.
• Expand business beyond current accounts through a structured plan aligned with the Sales Director.
• Formulate and implement strategic plans to generate organic growth for Amcor, ensuring a robust pipeline of active opportunities for future business with your clients.
• Cultivate a deep understanding of customer needs, both short-term and long-term, while effectively differentiating and promoting the value of Amcor’s products and services, and pursuing opportunities aligned with the Amcor portfolio.
• Establish highly collaborative relationships between Amcor and key accounts, including senior leadership, procurement, engineering, quality, operations, sales management, support teams, and key contacts at Amcor.
• Coordinate and lead significant business negotiations that support Amcor’s interests, showcasing an ability to influence decisions and actions.
• Successfully recognize solutions that Amcor can offer to foster extensive account relationships at mid to high organizational levels across various functional areas.
• Possess the capability to drive business on a regional, national, or global scale as necessary, with travel requirements as needed.
• Implement and support comprehensive commercial processes, such as maintaining the sales pipeline using company software, to enhance visibility of your business across the organization and facilitate effective communication.
• Identify and cultivate essential internal resources necessary to achieve customer growth objectives.
• Represent the voice of the customer within Amcor, clearly articulating customer needs, timelines, priorities, and insights.
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent is required.
• 3-5 years of sales experience in distribution, direct sales, or national accounts is essential.
• Preference will be given to candidates with 3+ years of experience in the packaging industry or a related field.
• Familiarity with the plastics category, particularly injection molding and blow molding, is preferred.
• Must be a self-starter with a results-oriented mindset.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills are required; candidates should be prepared to provide a writing sample.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to develop business solutions.
• Strong focus on building relationships.
• Proficient in computer skills and organizational abilities.
• Capability to grasp new products and technologies quickly.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary.
• Excellent negotiation and business acumen are essential.
• Preference for candidates residing near a major airport.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, despite the remote nature of the job.
