• Cultivate strategic partnerships with aerospace primes, aircraft manufacturers, launch service providers, mission-system integrators, subsystem suppliers, Federal Systems Integrators, and government program offices.

• Pinpoint aerospace programs where contemporary software architectures can minimize platform-specific engineering, expedite mission capability delivery, and enhance software sustainability.

• Comprehend the processes involved in software development, integration, testing, accreditation, deployment, and maintenance across customer platforms.

• Seek opportunities to eliminate redundant or isolated engineering efforts across aircraft, spacecraft, test environments, integration labs, and mission systems.

• Grasp the limitations associated with SAP/SAR, classified, air-gapped, disconnected, and rigorously controlled engineering settings.

• Collaborate with Solutions Architects to align Defense Unicorns' capabilities with aerospace platform architectures, mission computers, onboard computing environments, ground systems, integration facilities, and software factories.

• Formulate account and opportunity strategies that link technical modernization initiatives to program priorities, funding sources, acquisition pathways, and mission results.

• Participate early in platform modernization efforts and next-generation aircraft or spacecraft initiatives.

• Acquainted with SAP/SAR programs, classified environments, air-gapped networks, and highly controlled engineering settings.

• Knowledgeable about Open Mission Systems, modular open systems architectures, mission computers, onboard computing, or similar mission-system concepts.

• Familiar with digital engineering, digital twins, modeling and simulation, software-in-the-loop, hardware-in-the-loop, and systems integration laboratories.

• Understanding of DevSecOps, software factories, containerization, cloud-native technologies, software supply chains, and contemporary application deployment.

• Capability to comprehend complex system architectures and engage credibly with aerospace engineers, systems architects, software leaders, and program managers.

• Experience in developing opportunities early in a program’s lifecycle prior to formal procurement processes.

• Proficient in navigating complex, multi-year opportunities involving government clients, prime contractors, technology partners, and various acquisition stakeholders.
