• Drive Revenue: Identify, pitch, and secure high-value direct affiliate partnerships and sponsorships to consistently achieve or surpass quarterly and annual revenue objectives.
• Partnership Growth & Client Relations: Utilize existing connections and cultivate new partnerships across essential sectors.
• Manage the Sales Cycle: Take ownership of the complete sales process, from initial outreach and lead generation to negotiation, closing, and post-sale account management.
• Sell Multi-Surface Packages: Propose and sell integrated advertising and sponsorship packages across a diverse product suite, including sponsored articles, high-intent newsletters, on-site commerce hubs, landing-page funnels, and evergreen utility experiences.
• Build the Pipeline: Sustain a robust and healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools, delivering precise revenue forecasts to leadership.
• Develop Pitch Materials: Create persuasive, data-driven sales presentations and tailored pitch materials that meet specific brand and agency requirements.
• Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary negotiator for commerce and sponsorship placements, ensuring long-term retention and upselling opportunities with key clients.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the main point of contact between external clients and internal Product/Editorial teams to design customized sales funnels and promotional campaigns that align with client objectives while maintaining audience trust.
• Campaign Reporting: Monitor sales performance, guarantee campaign delivery, and report on key KPIs (CVR, RPM, ROI) to clients to demonstrate value and secure renewals.
• Strategic Growth: Collaborate with internal leadership to transform fully-launched, repeatable business offerings into highly monetizable assets (e.g., seasonal deal franchises, newsletter SKUs, landing-page packages).
• 3+ years of demonstrated B2B sales experience, particularly in digital media, sponsorships, e-commerce, or affiliate marketing.
• Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and driving tangible revenue growth.
• Outstanding presentation, negotiation, and closing abilities, with the confidence to pitch to marketing directors and agency buyers.
• Proficient in CRM software for effective pipeline management and forecasting.
• Knowledge of digital advertising metrics (CPM, CPA, CVR, RPM) and affiliate/sponsorship monetization models.
• A strong network of contacts within agencies, travel brands, or affiliate networks is a significant advantage.
• Excellent organizational skills and the capability to manage multiple client accounts and projects concurrently.
