This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Meet quarterly and annual sales targets for assigned accounts and/or territory by formulating a sales strategy that includes a target prospect list and a regional sales plan.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create marketing strategies aimed at increasing revenue growth.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by comprehensively understanding their current and future IT roadmap to promote the Snowflake solution within the market.
• Qualify prospects and develop new sales opportunities along with sustainable revenue streams.
• Organize and lead initial discussions and positioning meetings with Executives and CxOs.
• Manage the sales process and ensure successful opportunity closures.
• Provide continuous account management to maintain customer satisfaction and foster additional revenue opportunities.
• Possess familiarity with a solution-oriented sales approach, experience in handling complex sales processes, and exhibit exceptional presentation, listening, organizational, and contact management skills.
• BA/BS degree is required.
• Preferred 3+ years of field sales experience, especially in data or cloud-related technology.
• Over 5 years of experience focused on generating new business within Enterprise accounts.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage, develop, and secure new client relationships.
• Proven experience achieving a quota of $800k+ in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) per year, with an average of 8+ face-to-face meetings weekly.
• Strong focus on new business sales.
• A history of success in maintaining consistent activity, pipeline development, and quota attainment.
• Experience in identifying customer requirements and presenting suitable solutions.
• A proactive and independent thinker with high energy and a positive outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Proficient in managing executive-level relationships.
• Capability to understand the overarching business context and IT-related drivers.
• Fluency in the German language is required.
