This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.
• Achieve and surpass quarterly and annual sales goals by engaging new clients in the academic sector.
• Perform thorough market research to pinpoint potential clients and opportunities.
• Create and sustain a solid sales pipeline through strategic prospecting and networking efforts.
• Oversee the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience.
• Conduct discovery and demonstration calls, effectively showcasing our SaaS solutions to prospective clients.
• Employ consultative sales strategies to comprehend client needs and suggest customized solutions.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers within target organizations.
• Craft and present persuasive client proposals and presentations that emphasize the value of our solutions.
• Guarantee client satisfaction and retention by offering continuous support and promptly addressing any issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
• Utilize CRM tools to monitor sales activities, manage client information, and produce reports for strategic planning.
• Remain informed about industry trends and competitor actions to identify new opportunities and challenges.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 3 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, ideally within the academic sector or similar fields.
• Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets in a remote, fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in English, with German and French as preferred languages; exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong comprehension of the academic sector, capable of navigating complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
• Familiarity with sales tools and CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
• Experience in library settings or selling to academic libraries is a plus.
• Highly motivated and goal-oriented, with outstanding problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
