• **What You’ll Do**
• - **Client Strategy & Counsel:** Act as a trusted leader across prominent accounts, offering high-level strategic guidance to senior client executives. Formulate long-term PR strategies that align with client objectives and adeptly manage challenging discussions or constructive client feedback when required.
• - **Crisis & Narrative Excellence:** Serve as a reliable resource during client crises by performing risk evaluations and drafting proactive communications. Conduct interviews with executives to develop strong thought leadership platforms and convert intricate technical innovations into media-friendly stories.
• - **Portfolio Management & Business Operations:** Take responsibility for account health, revenue forecasting, and resource distribution to enhance team efficiency and reduce over/under-service. Manage client contracts, KPIs, and scopes of work on a monthly and annual basis.
• - **Media & Integrated Strategy:** Create sophisticated, long-term media and engagement plans that encompass media, analyst, and social landscapes. Ensure top-notch editorial quality control throughout the portfolio and utilize a robust network of established connections within Tier-1 national business and trade media.
• - **Organic Growth:** Actively seek out expansion opportunities within your existing client base to foster organic business development and uphold high client retention rates.
• - **Team Leadership & Talent Development:** Directly oversee, mentor, and motivate team members, setting clear professional objectives and providing targeted training to enhance the skills of junior and mid-level practitioners.
• - **Innovation & Agency Leadership (SAD Level):** Guide teams in embracing emerging PR technologies and alternative communication methods while broadening leadership influence in global PR management.
• **What You’ll Have**
• **For the Account Director Level:**
• - **Experience:** Over 7 years of progressive PR and marketing experience, including substantial involvement in a corporate communications or digitally focused PR leadership role.
• - **Account Mastery:** A minimum of two years serving as the strategic account lead for several complex clients.
• - **Tech Literacy:** Extensive experience in the Enterprise Tech sector, with the capability to effortlessly convey technical capabilities to a wider audience.
• - **Media Network:** A proven history of securing Tier-1 national business and industry trade opportunities.
• **For the Senior Account Director Level:**
• - **Experience:** 10-12+ years of progressive experience in agency and/or in-house communications marketing, with significant expertise in leading teams and managing high-profile accounts. Global account management experience in international media landscapes is highly desirable.
• - **Strategic Autonomy:** Demonstrated ability to operate with minimal executive direction and independently create meaningful, multi-layered strategies and plans for clients.
• - **Commercial Acumen:** Strong, advanced understanding of agency operations, budget management, resource allocation, and team utilization constraints.
• - **Advanced Management:** Comfortable leading challenging staff discussions, addressing team issues in collaboration with HR, and confidently developing and implementing Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) when necessary.
