This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Effectively identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Stay informed about the competitive landscape, market pricing, and strategic developments.
• Conduct account planning, revenue forecasting, and manage opportunities for current Hyperscale clients.
• Enhance sales through partnerships, including indirect channel partners, referrals, and carrier relationships.
• Engage in trade shows and networking events focused on hyperscale.
• This role involves developing and executing account and marketing plans, seeking new business, and establishing relationships with management levels within Hyperscale accounts.
• Document, create, and maintain a customer contact plan along with tracking the progress of contracts and revenue opportunities.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• At least 5 years of demonstrated success in solution-based selling, ideally in the Hyperscale built-to-suit data center, powered shell, or pre-lease data center space.
• In-depth knowledge of high-density data center solutions.
• Previous experience in Hyperscale Account Management within the data center sector.
• Established history of formulating business strategies, enabling partners, and developing measurable metrics to achieve key strategies for Hyperscale and Global clients.
• Successful experience in business development and sales with Hyperscale Providers.
• Proficient in utilizing a CRM for forecasting and tracking sales activities.
• Technical knowledge of:
• Data Center Infrastructure
• High-density computing environments
• Networking
• Cloud / HyperScaler connectivity
• Must possess strong articulation skills with a proven consultative approach.
• Well-organized and competitive in nature.
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication capabilities.
• Attentive listener with effective questioning skills.
• Self-driven and able to work effectively without constant supervision.
• Capable of managing high-level activities.
