This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +3 more states.
• Facilitates RFP strategy discussions, crafts client proposals, prepares presentations for clients, and negotiates and finalizes contracts.
• Secures new business authorizations at or above the designated authorization target.
• Conducts cold calls and client visits; manages the sales database; keeps track of cold call and client visit activity reports.
• Guarantees client satisfaction through regular contact; reports and formulates recommendations to resolve client dissatisfaction; addresses all client inquiries promptly.
• Possesses sales experience in bioanalytical and biomarker services targeted at biotech clients.
• Bachelor's Degree along with 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech sector, demonstrating a history of meeting or surpassing targets.
• Preferred Areas of Study: life sciences, business, or a related discipline.
• Additional pertinent certifications are advantageous.
• Valid driver's license and capability to travel independently.
• Strong understanding of scientific and technical aspects of drug development, clinical trials, and laboratory services.
• Proven ability to cultivate and sustain executive-level relationships with key decision-makers.
• Exceptional skills in consultative selling, proposal crafting, and contract negotiations.
• Strong presentation and communication abilities for engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Experience with CRM systems and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Proven capacity to work independently while collaborating across matrix organizations.
• Excellent project management and organizational capabilities.
• Strategic mindset and business acumen to identify and nurture opportunities.
• Willingness to travel 25-50% of the time for client meetings and business development.
• Proficient in English; additional language skills are a plus.
