• Implement a robust sales strategy to meet revenue targets for your territory and drive growth in Relationship One's products and segments.
• Build strong relationships with channel partners, serving as the main source for new sales opportunities and collaborating on pursuing and closing these opportunities.
• Identify and seek additional opportunities through a mix of inbound lead follow-ups, outbound campaigns, direct contacts, and reference selling.
• Work in conjunction with the marketing team on lead management and follow-up efforts.
• Identify and qualify all designated leads and business prospects.
• Foster relationships with VP and CXO level prospects and clients, gaining a comprehensive understanding of their business goals and objectives.
• Engage in discussions with prospects and clients to uncover and clarify their business needs and objectives.
• Collaborate with Solution Leads to create and define comprehensive, programmatic solutions for prospects and clients.
• Develop and present proposals that clearly illustrate how Relationship One can provide the desired solutions and outcomes.
• Lead and oversee the negotiation and contracting processes and activities.
• Consistently model Relationship One's sales management and forecasting practices.
• Embrace and exemplify Relationship One's best practices in solution selling.
• Guide the Relationship One account teams in Account Planning and Account Management activities, adhering to Relationship One's processes.
• Collaborate with the internal account team to ensure effective information exchange and successful execution of sold projects.
• 5-10 years of proven success in selling consulting services and/or cloud-based products, along with professional services to upper-level and C-suite leaders.
• A demonstrated history of consistently achieving and exceeding sales goals.
• Preference for experience selling to marketing professionals/executives.
• Background in selling marketing automation, customer experience, or CRM software is advantageous.
• Knowledge of solution/value selling methodologies.
• Established ability to manage multiple complex sales streams throughout the entire sales cycle.
• Experience in effectively managing RFP responses and securing business via RFP processes.
• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and its related functionalities.
• Working knowledge of marketing cloud applications, particularly Adobe Experience Platform (e.g., Marketo Engage, Campaign, Journey Optimizer, Real-Time CDP, etc.), Braze, Oracle Marketing (e.g. Eloqua, Responsys, Unity, etc.), and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Required strong customer service skills and a customer-centric sales approach.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational capabilities and experience in managing project-based sales.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated resourcefulness, motivation, initiative, and a start-up mindset.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, along with the capability to lead cooperative teams.
• Must reside in the United States and be eligible to work there.
