This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and guide the planning, research, content creation, and strategy formulation for intricate projects.
• Act as a reliable advisor to clients and external partners connected to the client’s business, as well as to internal project teams.
• Assume responsibility for larger projects, encompassing both the work and the associated processes.
• Foster momentum within the team to produce high-quality results and identify growth opportunities.
• Anticipate future possibilities by recognizing potential opportunities and necessary next steps, flagging risks, and devising solutions for the team to address them.
• Provide guidance and constructive feedback to junior team members regarding their daily and ongoing tasks; mentor them for their development within the team.
• Design and execute process improvement initiatives in strategic and innovative manners.
• Prioritize and allocate assignments and requirements as needed.
• Exemplify and promote the company’s values.
• Influence decision-making processes and drive organizational change.
• Engage in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
• Contribute to the new business development process, including fostering organic growth.
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in communications, public health, or a related field.
• Over 8 years of experience in communications and/or project management, preferably with a health focus.
• Previous experience in a communications firm and/or government or government consulting is preferred.
• A Ph.D. can be accepted in lieu of 3 years of required experience with a master’s degree or for 4 years with a bachelor’s degree.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, organized, action-oriented, and adaptable approach to managing complex accounts and team development.
• Proven ability to build relationships with teams and clients while delivering successful programs.
• Comprehensive exposure to various skill areas, including strategic communications, marketing, public relations, digital strategy, business development, writing and presentations, media relations, and consultative selling.
