This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct in-depth research and intelligence gathering within target accounts to pinpoint key contacts and essential account information through people mapping exercises and value pyramid development.
• Engage with target Fortune 1000 accounts through strategic networking, email outreach, e-marketing campaigns, and social media initiatives.
• Assess leads and contacts based on explicitly defined criteria to transform significant sales leads into the pipeline through thorough outbound prospecting efforts.
• Acquire and showcase a fundamental understanding of the Workiva platform, effectively communicating its features and benefits to decision-makers and influencers across various business sectors, while recognizing both negative implications and positive business outcomes for strategic accounts.
• Comprehend global personas within the offices of Financial Transformation, Accounting, Finance, IT, and Sustainability Reporting.
• Drive participation in numerous events (such as webinars, roadshows, Amplify, and conferences) and ensure post-event follow-up, in addition to creating distinctive events in the territory that lead to a Qualified Pipeline.
• Develop and maintain an up-to-date understanding of Workiva’s latest product offerings and possess competitive product and market knowledge.
• Collaborate closely with Account Executives to formulate an ongoing engagement strategy with assigned customer and prospect accounts to achieve revenue targets.
• Meet or surpass quarterly objectives for the number of opportunity targets, revenue, and weekly/monthly performance metrics.
• Sustain active engagement with both existing customers and prospects to foster interest in additional uses of the Workiva platform by understanding their key initiatives and challenges.
• Contribute to essential functions related to completing the sales cycle, including forecasting, reporting, CRM maintenance, correspondence, and communications.
• An Associate’s degree is required.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in Sales Development.
• Experience in a SaaS Sales environment is essential.
• Proficiency in Salesforce CRM, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator is highly preferred.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, accompanied by a professional demeanor.
• Self-driven with a strong focus on action, results, and continuous improvement.
• The ability to thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced, and rapidly changing environment is critical.
• Outstanding organizational abilities with the capacity to multitask and manage various processes, programs, and procedures concurrently while meeting tight deadlines.
• Capability to maintain a high level of activity and efficiently manage competing priorities.
• Demonstrated success in generating revenue opportunities and meeting quota targets.
• Proven ability to comprehend and effectively promote technical offerings and solution sets.
• Aptitude for learning, developing, and integrating skills within an online training environment.
• Eligible for commission based on sales performance.
