This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Enhance and secure sales for clients within the designated sales territory, primarily covering Southern Germany and Switzerland, along with parts of Western Austria and Northern Italy.
• Create business opportunities and nurture relationships by managing the sales process using platforms like Salesforce and Showpad to monitor opportunities, activities, and interactions with customers.
• Foster robust customer loyalty through proactive virtual engagement and, when necessary, on-site visits.
• Take charge of customer accounts that have been transitioned from the Business Development team.
• Align customer needs with internal processes and solutions effectively.
• Provide reports on critical performance indicators such as revenue, margin, opportunities, activities, closing rates, and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering technical support and on-site services.
• Assist in gathering market intelligence and conducting competitive analysis.
• Operate independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Additional business training in sales and marketing.
• Proven track record (3–5 years) as an account manager in a technical setting.
• Demonstrated capability to cultivate long-term business relationships.
• Experience in leading customer projects and managing contracts.
• Exceptional negotiation skills.
• A successful history in solution selling and meeting sales targets.
• Comprehensive understanding of sales processes and principles.
• Strong technical and commercial acumen.
• Background in the automotive or manufacturing sectors.
• Ability to adapt to various markets, applications, and customer profiles, coupled with a rapid learning capability for new technologies.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities (both written and spoken) in German and English; proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.
• Strong intercultural competence and a highly collaborative attitude.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory (up to 40%).
• Contribute to facilitating over 2 billion connections annually.
• Engage in open and respectful collaboration.
• Build strong relationships with team members.
