• Acts as a primary contact for Relation’s most significant and intricate clients.
• Oversees client inquiries, offering suggestions in collaboration with the National Accounts Account Management Team regarding suitable coverage modifications and/or contractual obligations.
• Identifies, investigates, and resolves standard client issues.
• Assists the National Accounts Account Management team in the renewal remarketing process to maintain a high level of account retention.
• Prepares proposals as instructed by the Account Manager.
• May assess policies received from carriers to confirm compliance with specifications/binders; expedite necessary corrections with insurance carriers for received policies, and manage endorsements and applications (ordering, following up, and/or checking).
• Ensures timely responses from carriers to facilitate the resolution of all claims.
• Reviews policy audits and verifies their correctness.
• Ensures that necessary adjustments between the client and the carrier are made as directed by the National Accounts Account Management team.
• Proactively informs clients of any significant discrepancies in audits.
• Reviews cancellation requests and assesses their reasons, attempting to retain client accounts as appropriate while upholding the company’s financial integrity under the guidance of the National Accounts Account Management team.
• Keeps updated on industry developments, new products, legislation, coverage, and technology to enhance knowledge, performance, and client services.
• Fully embraces innovative technology, including proprietary AI solutions, to provide an exceptional client service experience.
• Undertakes additional projects, responsibilities, and tasks as assigned.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 2+ years of client service experience in the insurance sector, focusing on commercial lines.
• A Property and Casualty License from the state of domicile is required and must be maintained.
• Associate in Insurance (AINS) and/or Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) Designation preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is advantageous or necessary in certain locations.
• 3+ years of experience in Customer Service, with preference given to candidates with commercial lines experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of commercial lines of coverage.
• Strong analytical and mathematical abilities.
• Excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills for both in-person and teleconference/webinar sessions.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills required to sustain effective relationships with clients, colleagues, carriers, vendors, and others.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (primarily Excel and Word).
• Must be computer literate with the capacity to learn new software applications.
• Intermediate knowledge of insurance markets, products, services, insurance ratings, and underwriting procedures.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, the ability to travel to client locations, and a reliable means of transportation.
