This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Promote a product to achieve or surpass sales targets within community/private practices and hospitals/health systems.
• Identify and address customer needs (training, clinical, operational, reimbursement) utilizing appropriate AbbVie resources.
• Deliver expert anatomical and procedural information and training, employing correct anatomical terminology to educate on injection paradigms/postures while emphasizing various anatomical insights and considerations.
• Provide educational and clinical/injection training for residents, fellows, and other essential hospital personnel.
• Collaborate with fellow Account Specialists to promote the product for approved indications and carry out individual, departmental, or group resident/fellow training within hospital/health system accounts.
• Adhere to all company policies, complete required reports, fulfill requests, maintain promotional compliance, and efficiently manage AbbVie field assets.
• Leverage AbbVie's sales and data resources to boost productivity and growth of AbbVie products while executing the U.S. Marketing Plan.
• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant and comparable industry experience is required.
• At least five (5) years of relevant industry experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree is required, with three (3) or more years in sales preferred and a high school diploma/GED required.
• Experience in selling within a “buy and bill” Medicare part B/Medical benefit environment, along with an understanding of reimbursement challenges and opportunities.
• Capable of driving a personal vehicle, company car, truck, or powered material handling equipment.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test, meeting safe driving standards.
• A documented history of strong sales performance, ideally in a clinical/technical/consultative sales role involving multiple decision-makers is preferred.
• Ability to manage complex sales, quickly learn procedural, technical, clinical, and anatomical information, and effectively communicate/present/train to diverse audiences.
• Capability to lift/pull training models weighing 25-100 lbs and fulfill necessary hospital credentialing/vaccination requirements.
• Willingness to travel as needed to cover territory, including overnight attendance at scheduled training events and sales meetings.
• A key requirement for this position is to meet all applicable health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing standards.
