ABAP, Datasphere Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather and document requirements.

• Develop data modeling solutions tailored for analytical use within SAP Datasphere.

• Create functional and technical documentation, including specifications, flow diagrams, and data dictionaries.

• Construct and manage SQL views, CDS Views, and models in SAP Datasphere, such as Analytic Models, Data Flows, and the Business Layer.

• Identify source tables and CDS Views in SAP S/4HANA for purposes of data extraction and replication.

• Act as a bridge between business requirements and the development team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC, including transaction navigation and understanding of tables and data structures.

• Familiarity with SAP Datasphere or SAP BW/4HANA is preferred.

• Proficiency in ABAP for reading, debugging, and developing CDS Views.

• Experience in dimensional and relational data modeling.

• Strong analytical SQL skills, with the capability to independently construct and optimize queries.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with business stakeholders.

• Understanding of SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC.

• Knowledge of SAP Datasphere and SAP BW/4HANA.

• Familiarity with SAP ABAP, particularly in CDS Views and debugging.

• Proficient in SQL and data modeling techniques.

• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or Power BI is a plus.

• Understanding of Agile methodologies is a plus.
